Esclamandes beach
Less than a 5-minute drive along the coast you will find Esclamandes beach, located on the Cote d'Azur and known as one of the longest sandy beaches. As you will notice, you drive past several small beaches and then arrive at this beautiful sandy beach. Esclamandes beach is a safe beach for families with children (you will not lie towel to towel with your neighbour).
The beach is divided into 4 zones
Good to know that a certain part is a nudist beach (east side of the beach). In addition, 3 zones can be distinguished: surfers zone (in the north), family zone and a zone where holidaymakers come with dogs (plage chiens/dog beach). Now you may think “if there is a surfer's zone, then the waves will be extremely high?”, this is the case, but just off the coast three artificial breakwaters cut away the raging waves and make the water calm and calm. This is designed especially for families who enjoy the calm waves.
How is the temperature?
The temperature is wonderfully warm, in the summer months of July and August the temperature is about 25 degrees. The water is 17.5 degrees in the coldest month, so it is pleasant to dive in this (luke)warm water for young and old.
Is it accessible for the disabled?
Yes, and for children who come along in the pram, the lifeguard has special prams for movement on the beach.
